NZ Secondary Schools National Climbing Championships
NZSSSC (New Zealand Secondary schools sports council) National Secondary Schools Climbing Championships Climbing New Zealand (CNZ) and School Sport New Zealand (NZSSSC) are promoting and organising the National Secondary Schools Climbing Championships for 2019. The competition will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2019 at Rocktopia in Mount Maunganui. The event is open to all secondary schools. 2020 Oceania Championships (Combined Open Event)
This event was rescheduled from March 2020 due travel restrictions and COVID-19 risks. 08-03-20_Infosheet_OCH_Sydney Event Page Startlist Please note the new dates 19th and 20th of December 2020. The events is a qualification event for Tokyo Olympics 2020. This is an Open only event, and those that can participate in this event will be selected from the Combined Event in October at Mt Maunganui. CNZ National Lead and Para-climbing Championships 2020/21
National event for all grades. This is a qualifying event for New Zealand Development Squad and New Zealand Team selection. Refer to the Climbing New Zealand website for selection policy details. All categories are Lead events with exception of Youth D and Para-climbing which are top rope events. Each category consists of 2 qualifying climbs, and a finals climb (for top 8 athletes) This event occurs over two days, however each classification is completed in a single day.
