Competition format
The event runs in a combined format. Every climber competes across all three disciplines, with results aggregated to determine overall placings.
- Top-rope on auto-belay. Routes graded 15 to 25. Four qualifying routes, three in quarter- and semi-finals, one in the final. 2 min 45 sec per attempt, 3 min rest between climbs.
- Speed. Two attempts, fastest time counts. Schools with six or more entries are also ranked for the Fastest School award.
- Bouldering. Three qualifying problems, two in quarter- and semi-finals and the final. Points for reaching zones and the top hold, with fewer attempts scoring higher.
