To qualify for the semi-finals and finals, you need to log your boulder sends at Northern Rocks between Monday 8 June and Sunday 9 August 2026. Register and start logging via the TopLogger app — the finals event on 15 August is for the top qualifiers only.
Winter Warriors is a 9-week bouldering league at Northern Rocks, Auckland. Log climbs throughout winter to rack up points, with the top qualifiers battling it out at a live semi-final and finals day in August.

Competition format
Log any climbs set during the league period at Northern Rocks. New problems are added to TopLogger each week.
- Points. Each top earns 1,000 points divided by the total number of climbers who topped it — the rarer the send, the more points it’s worth.
- Flash bonus. Top a climb on your first attempt and receive a 20% bonus.
- Qualification. The top 20 climbers in each category advance to IFSC-style semi-finals; the top 8 progress to finals.
Finals day — Saturday 15 August
Semi-finals and finals are held live at Northern Rocks. Expect an MC, creative comp boulders, music, prizes, and plenty of atmosphere. Podium finishers win Northern Rocks memberships, with additional prizes from event sponsors.
