Home of Sport Climbing in New Zealand, the new Olympic Sport!!
The Climbing New Zealand (CNZ) Annual General Meeting is to be held on:Sunday the 14th of April 2019, commencing at 12 noon,
at
Northern Rocks (111 Diana Drive, Glenfield, Auckland) and via Skype.
All affiliated members are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is the opportunity to be included in the meeting via Skype for those unable to attend in person – please send your intentions to attend or skype details through to s on or before the 7th of April.
Nominations will open on the 15th of March 2019 for all Executive Committee officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer) and the Athlete’s Representative, to be voted on at the AGM . Please also give your nominations for Ordinary officers (Club representatives, not voted on, each club is entitled to one representative). All Executive Committee nominations will be distributed to member clubs on the 4th of April 2019 as per the CNZ constitution requirements, along with an agenda for the meeting.

Climbing New Zealand is seeking applications for position of Assistant Coach for the New Zealand Youth Sport Climbing Team (NZYT) for 2019.

Please note this position is voluntary (expenses reimbursed), and for a 1-season term (2019) only.
Applicants must be available for travel to Italy for the IFSC World Youth Championship (WYCH). Trip duration: August 11th – Sept 4th. Ideally the applicant should be competent driving a manual vehicle in Italy.
Applicants will probably also be needed to attend the Australia Youth Champs in Sydney (May 24,25,26).
Applicants are also expected to attend all training camps for the NZYT – dates to follow.
Parents/guardians or any person having a direct family relationship (including relationship partners) to any member of the NZYT will not be considered for any of this position.
Application closing date: midnight Monday March 4th 2019
Interviews will follow – by Skype or Google Hangouts and we will aim to confirm appointments by end of March.
