Keen to set for a national comp? Climbing New Zealand wants to hear from you. We’re building the route setting crews for three nationals across 2026 and 2027, and expressions of interest are now open.
You don’t need a stack of nationals behind you. We’re recruiting across every level, from entry-level setters getting their first taste of comp setting through to chief setters running the show.

Right now we’re just gauging interest, so you’re not locking anything in. Firm dates and setting days will follow once each event is confirmed. Tell us which events and levels suit you, and a bit about your experience.
