CNZ Opens Prize

07 Apr

Congratulations to Sarah Hay and Josiah Jacobsen-Grocott who were the winners of combined Female and Male Open Lead and Bouldering categories at Hamilton last weekend and the recipients of the CNZ Opens Prize – both climbers automatically receive free entry to next month’s National Cup event in Wanaka.

Christchurch in September – think ahead!

07 Apr

Guess what? The All Blacks are playing South Africa in Chch the same weekend as our National Lead Champs – Sept 17th.

We’ve considered asking the NZRB for a change of date or venue for the mighty clash, but we don’t think that will go down too well!

So, think ahead! Cheap flights from the N.Island will be in short supply once tickets for the big game are on sale – so book now before all those avid rugby fans snap ’em up.

Happy climbing!
