National Speed event to crown out National Champions for 2021 2022
Open to all grades and all climbers.
The event will crown our National Champions, as well as being a chance for National Speed records to be set, and there is an opportunity to qualify for international events in Speed.
Athletes who are considering Speed as part of any international competition in 2022 will be expected to attend this event. This includes competing in Speed at World Cups, Youth World Championships and Oceania events.
Youth B and above (including Masters) compete on the International standard speed wall (i.e. same as Olympics and World Cups)
Youth C and Youth D compete on the Pacific K route, this is the route recognised for our National records. Current speed records are listed on our website.
