NOTE: COVID-19 Requirements. All athletes, officials and spectators at this event must be double vaccinated and show their vaccine pass. The gym is otherwise unable to operate and host the event.
This is a qualifying event for New Zealand Development Squad and New Zealand Team selection. Refer to the Climbing New Zealand website for selection policy details.
This event is Open to all climbers who qualify to compete in Youth A or above, born in 2006 or earlier. Additionally athletes need to be 15 or over on the date of the competition
Competitors must be a member of an affiliated Climbing New Zealand club and have a Domestic Climbing license if they want to be eligible for New Zealand Team selection.
All competitors must complete the domestic license form prior to the competition. Forms are available on the Climbing New Zealand website, or will be available on the day.
Completed forms are to be provided to club managers or provided on the day to officials.

Qualifying
10:00 am – Isolation Opens Female and Male
10.30 pm – Technical Meeting (Judges/Officials/Team Managers)
11:00 am – Venue Opens to Spectators
11:00 am – Isolation Closes Female and Male
11:10 am – Athlete Briefing (held in Isolation Zone)
11:30 am – Qualifying Begins Female and Male
3.00 pm – Qualifying Ends Female and Male
3.30 pm – Venue Closes. Resetting for finals

4:30 pm – Isolation Opens for all Finalists
5:30pm – Isolation Closes for all Finalists
5:30 pm – Finalist’s Briefing (held in Isolation Zone)
5:30pm – Venue Opens to Spectators
5:45 pm – Presentation of Finalists and Finals Viewing
6:00 pm – Finals Begin Female and Male
7:40 pm – Finals End
8:00 pm – Prize Giving
8:30 pm – Competition Ends
